The Henry Williams Scholarship sponsors two events each year.
The Annual Scholarship Luncheon is held each spring. The Luncheon features former scholarship
recipients who have earned their degrees or certificates and embarked on a career. They tell the stories of their journey in pursuit of an education, a career, calling or passion. The purpose of the stories is to inspire other young people and to give adults a better understanding of the challenges students can face and overcome.

The Awards Ceremony is held on the 2 nd or 3 rd Sunday in June. The Scholarship winners are introduced and tell of their plans for college and a future career. Attendance is mandatory for scholarship awardees. Families are encouraged to attend and are recognized. A motivational speaker offers advice and counsel for students leaving home for the first time and for their parents. The names of the Boosters are printed on the program. The Scholarship Committee is introduced. A reception follows the Ceremony and allows students and families to socialize and to meet the members of the Scholarship Committee.
